Establishment of Integrated Accounting Information Systems in an Emerging Market-Problems and Barriers(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

This research study is aimed to investigate barriers and problems of establishment process of integrated accounting information systems (IAIS) in the universities of an emerging market (Iran) in order to facilitate their establishment. The research population includes Iranian state universities’ CFO and his/her deputy, as well as IT specialists involved in the process of establishment of IAIS in those universities in 2016 and 2017.  The required data was collection using a questionnaire designed and developed by the researchers in accordance with the     literature (there was no standard questionnaire).The collected data was analyzed at three levels "Total population (Population) ", "CFO or Deputy" (Managers) and "IT Specialists"(Specialists). The results at “Population " level show that the most important problem is related to” design and establishment of the IAIS" and problems related to “project analysis and risk” and “plan” are the least important. Other problems are “employees“, “culture”, “managers”, “and level of information technology and information systems in the university”. From the Managers and Specialists’ point of view problems related to "design and establishment of IAIS” have the most importance. This case study would be of value to regulators, senior managers, system analysts, university authorities especially CFOs and IT managers, and researcher especially in developing and emerging markets.

The Quality of Decision-Making for School Vocational Principals: An Information System and Decision Support System Technology(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The principal sometimes makes decisions that cannot solve the problem because the principal does not adequately study the factors that influence and hinder the implementation of decisions before making a decision. The low quality of decisions is because of the lack of data availability or current information related to planning parameters. The unavailability of a decision support system as part of an education management information system that manages the data becomes information for school principals and is an obstacle to the quality of decision-making. The main objective of this research is proposing the decision-making model of school principals. This research is a quantitative study with a questionnaire as a research instrument. The research sample was the head of vocational schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. The data analysis technique used was the analysis technique used by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS software. The results showed that the Decision Information System and the Decision Support System must support a practical decision-making quality. Both systems will have an impact on increasing alternative selection ability and analysis of problem-solving ability. Future research may develop an Android-based principal’s decision support system.

Designing a Support Management Information Systems Model for Penetration Strategies of Iranian Beverages to International Markets and its Validation(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The aim of the research is to design a model of Support Management Information Systems for penetration strategies of Iranian beverages to international markets and validation it. In this research, a combination of interviews with three-stage coding of grounded theory and questionnaires; therefore, this research is mixed. The statistical population of this research includes experts in the field of marketing international products, and according to the research objective, the sampling in this research is purposeful. The sample size in this research was selected to be 10 people based on the snowball sampling method. The research findings identified 8 factors, including Market characteristics (market analysis and selection of target markets), product characteristics (production and packaging), marketing and branding strategies and advertising, cultural and social factors, market challenges and opportunities, management and organizational processes, distribution and sales network, and competitive pricing. ,. The research results showed that for success and penetration in international markets, Iranian beverage companies need to pay special attention to Market characteristics (market analysis and selection of target markets), product characteristics (production and packaging), marketing and branding strategies and advertising, cultural and social factors, market challenges and opportunities, management and organizational processes, distribution and sales network, and competitive pricing. ,. From competitive analysis and identifying market trends to developing new products and using natural materials, all these factors can help optimize marketing strategies. Furthermore, adapting to different cultures and understanding local needs can play a significant role in the success of marketing strategies. Additionally, the use of new technologies and optimization of managerial processes can improve customer relationship management and increase productivity. Ultimately, analyzing consumer behavior and identifying new opportunities can help identify and exploit market opportunities and lead to the sustainable growth and development of Iranian companies in international markets.
