بررسی فلسفه به مثابه ادبیات از منظر آرتور دانتو (مطالعه موردی اثر « فایدون» از افلاطون)

چکیده
آرتور دانتو در مقاله خود تحت عنوان «فلسفه به مثابه ادبیات/ فلسفه و ادبیات/ فلسفه ادبیات» مطرح می نماید که فرم و شگردهای ادبی در تبیین مطالب فلاسفه نقش مهمی ایفا نمودند اما در تحلیل آثار فلسفی همواره این خصوصیات نادیده گرفته شده است، تاکنون پژوهشگران حوزه مطالعات میان رشته ای بارها به تحلیل آثار ادبی از منظر آرای فیلسوفان یا مکتب های فلسفی پرداخته اند، اما واکاوی آثار فلسفی از منظر فرم و عناصر ادبی کمتر مدنظر آنها قرارگرفته است. این پژوهش در نظر دارد که با اتخاذ نمودن رویکرد متفاوت دانتو نسبت به بررسی آثار فلسفی، توجه محققان را به جایگاه ادبیات در بستر این متن ها جلب نمایند و براساس شیوه توصیفی-تحلیلی همراهی میان ادبیات و فلسفه را در یک اثر شاخص فلسفی چون فایدون از افلاطون که دارای خصوصیات بارز ادبی است مورد مطالعه و بررسی قراردهد. مدنظراست که با تکیه بر منابع موجود به این سوال پاسخ داده شود که فیلسوف بزرگی چون افلاطون به چه علت و طریقی از خصوصیات ادبی یک تراژدی برای ارائه بیانی متفاوت از مفاهیمی چون جاودانگی روح، فانی بودن جسم و مرگ استفاده نمود و سقراط فیلسوف نامدار یونانی را در قامت یک قهرمان تراژدی برای مخاطبانش تصویر کرد. در طی پژوهش صورت گرفته مشاهده می شود که ادبیات قدرت شایانی در ترسیم مطالب فلسفی و متقاعد ساختن ذهن مخاطب در پذیرش آنها دارد و می تواند ابعاد تازه ای به فهم متن فلاسفه ببخشد و نگرش متفاوتی نسبت به مباحث آنها نزد خوانندگان ایجاد نماید.Examining the topic of philosophy as literature from the perspective of Arthur Danto; a case study of Plato's work "Phaedo".
In his article titled "Philosophy as Literature/Philosophy and Literature/Philosophy of Literature," Arthur Danto argues that literary forms and techniques played a significant role in the philosophers' exposition of their ideas, but these characteristics have often been overlooked in the analysis of philosophical works. Interdisciplinary researchers have frequently analyzed literary works from the perspective of philosophical ideas or schools, but the examination of philosophical works from the standpoint of literary form and elements has received less attention. This research aims to draw researchers' attention to the role of literature within these texts by adopting Danto's distinct approach to the examination of philosophical works, and to study the interplay between literature and philosophy in a prominent philosophical work such as Plato's Phaedo, which exhibits distinct literary qualities. The study intends to use available resources to answer the question of why a great philosopher like Plato utilized the characteristics of a tragedy to present concepts such as the immortality of the soul, the transience of the body, and death, and how he portrayed the renowned Greek philosopher Socrates as a tragic hero for his audience. The research observes that literature possesses remarkable power in depicting philosophical ideas and persuading the reader's mind to accept them, and can lend new dimensions to the understanding of philosophers' texts and generate a different perspective on their discussions.
